Rising Stream left her new den, yawning. Dawn started to show slowly between the willow trees that protected the camp and a soft smile appeared on her muzzle. Breathing the fresh air, she watched her new Tribe proudly. They were just starting to settle the dens and organizing the patrols but everything was working pretty well and she was glad to have such fine cats like them.
Stretching her paws in front of the cave that was her home, she decided that today she was going to explore and hunt in her territories. She already sent some explorers to discover their new territory but there was still some things to do. However, she wanted to take someone with her.
Approaching the white colored she-cat, the large silvery she-cat greeted her with a kind smile. "Morning, Snow Drop. I'm going to go on a hunting patrol and take the opportunity to explore a little and I would like that you can join me today."

Snow drop gave a sweet smile back to the younger she-cat. "Of course i'll come I'd like some time out of the camp." The fluffy she-cat got up and stretched a bit. She then began to slowly walk beside Rising stream.

Despite the difference of age, Rising Stream looked bigger than her when they walked together. She smiled gladly when she accepted her offering and left the camp with her, enjoying the view of the reeds and the light of the morning sun reflecting on the streams of her territory. Prey was more than enough now that they were learning how to fish properly and water rodents always hid in the groups of reeds. In no time they would grow up into a strong and healthy Tribe capable to live because of the common work of her tribemates.
Her green eyes glanced at the she-cat when they reached a width river where fishes clearly swam close to the shore. "I think we found a good place to hunt." She said, approaching the water. He let her paws get into the stream, remembering how her mother taught her how to do it. Rising Stream stayed still, looking seriously to the fishes until one of them was close enough. With a swift move, the large silvery she-cat caught a plump fish with her jaws and kept it still until it died.
She returned to the shore, leaving the caught-prey in the ground. She sat down, letting her paws dry for a bit and then gazed back at the Sharpclaw, eagerly to know her better. The Leader was curious about her since she knew that Snow Drop was a former kittypet like her when she was younger. "So, what do you think of our Tribe, Snow Drop? Are you living comfortably since our arrival?" She asked to her, politely.

Snow drop giggled as she started to remember the time where she first set foot outdoors. The pure white she-cat turned to look at Rising stream as she spoke. "Living in your tribe was the greatest decision I could ever make. Second was meeting Night sky." she said with a playful twinkle in her eye. "Living as a kittypet was the most restricted experience for me. I couldn't do anything. I wasn't allowed to go out much and the twolegs would pinch and touch me too much. They should've known I needed some space. I always dreamed of a huge place right outside my garden. One day, I was outside just daydreaming again when I saw something moving around the grass just beyond the fence. It turned out to be a cat named Night sky. He taught me many things through the fence and eventually I wanted my freedom, so I escaped my nest. I really like the outside! It's refreshing and explorable." The white sharpclaw smiled. "How about you Rising stream? How did you get here?" she asked.

The she-cat listened to her story, reminding hers. Smiling because of the giggling of her partner, Rising Stream laid down on a large and plain rock next to the river, ready to tell her own history. "I wasn't so different from you, Snow Drop. I always dreamed of a place beyond the fences that imprisoned me. Even If my Twoleg was kind and I had a loving family, they couldn't understand my desire, so that's why I took the first opportunity I saw. I knew I couldn't leave alone because I had no experience but that changed when I met Muddy Flame when the Tribe led by Tall Pine arrived at the Twolegplace." She smiled softly turning her green gaze to the river. Somehow, she was like the permanent streams... always moving and not able to stay still in one place. Like the current of the river, Rising Streams wanted to be more than just a boring kittypet. She wanted to explore the world... be free to move whenever she wanted.
"I must admit that I wasn't very kind to him at first but soon we created a stronger bond and he took me to the Tribe. Even if I never wished to be the leader, I must say that it feels natural to be this way. So I'm not regretful about what happened to the initial Tribe. I always knew that it couldn't last too much and now that we're finally split up... I feel free and strong. Those sensations were something that I would never get if I would have stayed in my old home so I'm happy to be here finally. I can lead and protect my new family... my tribemates... and my future kittens. I couldn't ask for anything better than this."

Snow drop's eyes glistened with curiosity and understanding. "I couldn't ask for a better leader or tribe. I enjoy the rushing of water and the cool breeze that ruffles my fur. I feel like a kitten again just thinking about my future. It's like fate that I could find a cat that shared a very similar past. Night sky was in a group of cats similar to a tribe but a bit smaller. Before I got out of my garden, Night sky would bring me live mice so I can learn to hunt! He also taught me how to swim by leading a small stream to my garden. He always did crazy thing for me to ensure I learned how to survive in the "wild." He had been observing me for a while. After I left my home, I joined his group where his parents taught me how to climb and battle. I owe him and his parents for my knowledge. I wonder what would I be doing now if I never met Night sky." The cat turned her head to one side in thought. "What do you think you'd be doing if you never met Muddy flame?" she asked softly.

The she-cat listened to her story, fascinated about finding someone who shared her same wishes: be more than just a Twoleg's cat. Her gaze was peaceful and calm when she asked her that question. With a loving smile, Rising Stream started talking. "I honestly never thought of that because I have no regrets because of my choice of leaving my old home. But now that you ask me... my life ould probably boring... a true nightmare that I would have to endure without saying a word. I can't thank Muddy Flame enough for what he had done for me. She purred curling her fluffy tail around her large body. In her belly, she could feel her kittens and his mate's that were growing strong inside of her. Thanks to Muddy Flame she was a tribe cat, a leader, and a future mother. She loved him so much and she now wanted to return everything to him working as hard as she could to protect his family and hers. "What about you? Do you feel something similar toward Night Sky? He is a nice tom, you know?"

Snow drop nodded. "Night sky is a loving tom. My life wouldn't be as enjoyable if I've never met him." she said with a smile. Would her life even serve a purpose? "I always wished of raising a family with Night sky. Maybe someday it might come true. He seems like the father type to me! Come to think of it, will you ever raise a family with Muddy flame? I wish to be a part of your kitten's lives if you ever do. You can help raise mine when the time comes." the sharpclaw said with a gentle smile.

She blushed slightly and let her tail fell to one side, so the she-cat could see her expanded belly. She chuckled happily looking at the white-furred she-cat. "I think that I already have one. This Smallpaws will probably troublemakers if they keep moving like that but if you're willing to tolerate their antics I would be very grateful and I would be honored to help you too when you have your own sons and daughters. I'm sure they will be as kind as you're Snow Drop and as loyal as Night Sky is." She meowing, curling her tail around her body once again. It was an instinct... she already felt the necessity of protecting the little ones that were growing inside of her.
"You know...? I used to have two sisters before I left but they never saw the true me... they always said that I was living in a dream for believing that I could survive alone. I love them... but they are not my family anymore. Cats like you, that can understand what I feel and are capable to share my ideas are really my family and I would like to be part of the life of my tribemates like that, seeing them as sisters and brothers. That's why I would love to be important in the life of your family and your future Smallpaws."

"Congratulations Rising stream! I'm very happy for you. I'd be able to put up with your smallpaw's energy so I wish to help you raise them...like an aunt!" she purred. The snow-white she-cat looked up at the sky and let out a relaxed sigh. "If I someday have kits of my own, you'll be the first to know. I want you to raise them to be loyal to thier tribe and to the Star cats above." The sharpclaw let out a purr of delight. "When do you think your kits will arrive? I really want to be there when they're born!" she said with a grin.

The she-cat looked at the white-furred cat with a kind and familiar smile. She was really the sister she needed a long time ago when she was still a kittypet. Now that Snow Drop was there, she didn't feel alone... she had someone who could trust and believe because she was honest with her all the time. "I'm not sure. There's still some time to wait and, honestly, I haven't asked Frozen Pool about them and what should I do because they aren't a problem for now. Maybe later I wouldn't be able to leave the camp after they are born but for now, I must enjoy the time that I have left using it to just relax and talk with the cats that I like." She purred winking at Snow Drop with a smirk, pointing out that she was happy that she could be talking with her now that she had the chance to do it before the birth of the Smallpaws.
"Next time you can accompany me when I ask our Healer about the health of my kittens so you can know too where they are going to be born." Stretching her front paws as she enjoyed the warm sun over her fur, Rising Stream looked at the river with a glad smile until an idea crossed her mind. Turning her head with a brilliant smile, she stood up in a bounce and left the rock where she was laying. "I have an idea! Since you want to be close to my little troublemakers, what do you say about being the tutor of one of them in the future? I'm sure you will teach everything they will need to know and will turn out into great Sharpclaws."

"That sounds amazing! I would love to come with you when ask about your kits." she purred. When Rising stream told her she could tutor one of her kits, she instantly nodded. "Yes! I would be honored to teach one of your kittens with my knowledge! Thank you Rising stream for everything." she said with a respectful nod of her head. "Would you like to head back? Im sure it's tiring staying in one spot." the she-cat said with a smile.
