Frozen Pool stepped out of his new den and yawned, enjoying the feeling of sand under his paws. The territory Rising Stream had picked was truly amazing, with its abundant rivers with many water-dwelling herbs. As soon as he stepped out, he decided to go back into the den to sort out the coltsfoot from the feverfew. They both grew in the same place and looked similar, so he had collected them both at once, and now it would be a pain to have to sort them out from each other. With an irritable sigh, he turned around to head back into his den. Both the sudden scent that filled his nose and the sight he saw caused him to stop in his tracks. There was a brown tabby she-cat with a white chest in his den, sorting out through the herbs for him. He stared speechless for a few seconds, then looked around in absolute confusion when the scene started fading. In moments, he had gone from the camp into a field of silvery, starlit grass. His confusion grew until a saw a tom with stars lacing his fur pad up to him, when he groaned. "Oh. It's you." "Am I really that bad?" the starry tom purred, and the Healer just rolled his eyes. Growling under his breath, he glared angrily at the dead tom. The amused look he got in return just worsened his mood. "Well last time I saw you I was told my father would kill me, which made me kill my father!" "That was your choice not mine. And this vision is one that does not bear as bad of news," the larger tom reassured, flicking his tail slightly. Before the other tom had a chance to respond, he continued. "And this one you must figure out yourself." Frozen Pool began to protest, just to have a tail flicked against his maw. For a moment he thought about what he had seen--a strangely familiar she-cat sorting through herbs in his den. Realization filled his eyes for a few moments, but already the dream was starting to fade. He had barely started speaking when the scene had melted away completely, and he was back in his den. The first thing that came into his sight was a leaf, coated in morning dew. All at once he remembered where he had recognized the brown tabby from his dream. He stood up and walked out into the foggy morning, walking over to Rising Stream's den. "Rising Stream? We need to talk."

The silvery she-cat could hear the steps of a cat approaching before Frozen Pool talked. She stood up slowly because of her widened belly and welcomed the older tom. However, the leader noticed that something different was going on. He seemed more serious and less grumpy than always so she made a sign to him so he knew that he was allowed to come inside deeper into the cave that was her den. "Of course. Tell me what happened, Frozen Pool, and I will see what I can do to help you if you need it. Is there something wrong with your supply of herbs?" She asked with serious and concerned eyes. Rising Stream tried her best to do everything it was in her paws to help each of her tribemates, especially the Healer who always worked hard and alone for the health of the Sharpclaw, Softpaws and Smallpaws.

"No, nothing is wrong with my herbs. I had a message from the Star Cats," Frozen Pool explained, strangely casual about it. "I had a dream here was a brown tabby she-cat in my den, and then this annoying tom in my dream told me it was a vision. When I woke up, the was dew coated leaf right in front of me. I put two and two together, and realized that the Star Cats have picked out a Softpaw for me. Leaf Dew." His icy blue eyes met her bright green ones as he spoke, conveying his seriousness. He didn't seem to show either glee and irritation at the fact that he was going to have to train a young cat, and was strangely indifferent, usually being the first to state his opinion. The truth was, he didn't know how he felt about the matter. He would get someone to help him out and who would understand and love herbs as much as he did, and that was a good thing. But teaching a young cat was nearly impossible, and he would have to put up with constantly being called grumpy.

Rising Stream blinked surprised of his words. A message from the Star Cats... she heard of them since she arrived at the mega tribe but actually she had never met them before. She believed that they existed somewhere... guiding the tribes to a better future but she hoped that one day they would speak to her directly to know what they thought of her being the leader of a new Tribe.
"A message of the Stars shouldn't be ignored so easily but still... I must ask you something. Do you want Leaf Dew as your Softpaw as your own Frozen Pool? Or maybe a better question is, do you want a Softpaw in the first place? I want to be sure that you're willing to teach all you know to a young mind like Leaf Dew's under your own will. I won't force to do anything you don't want to." She said kindly stepping closer to the older tom. If he agreed with the Star Cats, then the large she-cat would call Leaf Dew to her den so she could accept her new role in the Tribe and met her new Tutor.

"I mean, I wouldn't mind having a Softpaw. That would give me less boring work. And I wish I had a tutor when I was young, so the least I could do would be to train some cat myself. Plus, if the Star Cats think that I should teach her, who am I to say no? I think that the best plan of action right now would be to see if Leaf Dew wants this, and if she does, it looks like I am going to have a Softpaw to train." His words were uncharacteristically optimistic, not his usual sarcasm and pessimism that he almost alway brought to a conversation. He could tell this was too serious for his usual way of looking at things. In his mind, it wasn't even a question of if he was going to get a Softpaw or not. One of the Star Cats had spoken, and no matter how annoying he was, he must be correct. He let his gaze travel to outside of the den, to where cats were just starting to wake up. A sudden pride filled him. He was responsible for the well-being of all of these cats, and soon, one cat in particular. For some reason, that thought suddenly made him feel a lot more excited about being a tutor.

The silver tabby she-cat smiled and nodded to his words, glad to see how open he was to receive a Softpaw who will train to be just like him. "Then we should announce this to Leaf Dew immediately and ask her about her choice. Come with me, please." Rising Stream walked slowly out of her den, meeting the light of the morning sun. She blinked because of the light and then turned her head to the just made nursery where the Smallpaws lived. She walked greeting everyone on her trip to the den and then entered with Frozen Pool by her side.
When her green eyes gazed the young Smallpaw who already had the age to become a Softpaw she decided to talk from the entrance. "Leaf Dew, please come with us to my den. There's something we need to discuss with you." She said seriously but with a smile, so the she-cat wouldn't this calling was for something bad. In the contrary, being chosen by the stars to be a healer was a great honor and she wished that Leaf Dew would be as happy as she thought she would be with the good news.
