Branch managed to arrive at the place where the band of cats that took them lived. His tired paws barely moved and he could how his strength and energy were fading with every step, but when he saw the camp with so many cats, a new feeling gave him the motivation to keep going to the end. The brown tom walked slowly, behind the cats that rescued them and always staying close to the tom that was carrying Badger. His eyes looked to the different cats of sizes and appearances seeing them as the strangers they were. He shivered, nervous, trying to hide his broken paw from the eyes of all these cats. No of them seemed to be so injured as he and friends were and that created a fear inside the heart of Branch that he tried to keep hidden. He decided that he must be concerned about that later after he and his friends recovered their energy back. Now, he had to focus on getting better quickly.
-------
Stream... no, Rising Stream was laying over one of the roots of the trees, grooming the fur of one of her paws when her green eyes glanced a strange scene. Tall Pine was coming back from his usual walks with Dawn Streak and other Tribe cats but something was new... a bunch of peculiar and new cats was arriving with them. At the beginning of this Tribe, it wasn't strange that new cats joined the group, like her and Rock, but it had been a long time since the last ones. And those... seemed pretty weakened for some reason.
The large she-cat stood up, approaching the so called leader of the Tribe to ask him what happened, but as soon as she saw the conditions of the injured and weakened strangers she ran to one of them, concerned. "Oh, my! What happened to all of you? No, you don't need to waste your energies answering that, just... come with me." She looked at the leader, with serious eyes. "Frozen Pool had some knowledge about healing, Tall Pine. You should bring them to him as soon as possible and then you can explain how do you find them and what happened." Then, her eyes softened when she glanced back at the she-cat of the group, looking at her with friendly and motherly eyes. "I'm Rising Stream and I would love to help you. Come with me. I can guide you to Frozen Pool and he can help you."

Tall Pine nodded. They could talk once the strangers were rested. He padded towards Frozen Pool and gently lowered the tom to the ground before turning back and guiding the others towards the Tribe cat. He tried to catch Dawn Streak's eye but she was far too busy to pay attention to him. He huffed and padded towards Rock. "We need to talk about... this." He muttered, gesturing to the newcomers. He could get to Dawn Streak and Rising Stream later.
OOC: Short and crappy but it's late so can you blame me.

OOC: LOL
Fallen Shadow watched the disabled cats enter the camp "WHo are they? More rogues or kittypets joining?" He said scornfully until noticing their injuries. "And they are of no use to us, I MEAN LOOK AT THEM, THEY CAN'T HELP US!" He yowled angrily as their group was already quite large.
---------------------------------------------------------- Badger slowly regained consciousness. "Wha?" He said confused as suddenly a loud yowl rang out saying to throw them out. "B-b-but y-you can't." He whispered fearfully in a hoarse voice as he hadn't drank water in days. Badger was very confused as he was having a dream of being young again and being the most feared cat in the woods, suddenly realization dawned upon him. "You want to throw us out because badgers have maimed us almost killing us?!" He whispered shocked struggling to stay alert.

The brown furred tom trembled a bit scared by the sudden yowl of one the cats and trotted to the side of Badger, looking at the large group nervously. However, he managed to find his voice and speak like the older tom did. "Please... We have been passing some rough days and we need your help or we are going to die out there, without any medicine and surrounded by predators we cannot fight." His amber eye looked at the brownish tom that seemed to be the leader, searching for comprehension on his green eyes.
----------
Rising Stream turned her body toward Fallen Shadow and growled at him angrily. The large she-cat stood up among the group of disabled cats and the tom, hissing. "What are you saying, Fallen Shadow? Are you trying to say that I, a former kittypet, hadn't help out to keep this Tribe like all of you? Is it so important where I come from when I already proved that I'm as capable as any of my tribemates? Watch your next words and actions carefully, Fallen Shadow, because I will not let harm or exile any of these cats until they recover completely and have talked with them. You cannot say that they can't help the Tribe when they didn't have the chance to prove their worth."
----------
Oak Leaf was cleaning the dens after some hunting when he noticed the start of a discussion. His green eyes gazed the group of disabled cats being guided to the place where Frozen Pool was. The Somali tom padded closer to listen to what was happening and his eyes blinked surprised by the disabilities of all those cats. He somehow agreed with Fallen Shadow about that it was risky to keep them with the Tribe if they couldn't do anything at all but the red furred cat wasn't as aggressive as him. He preferred to look and wait for Tall Pine decision about this. Maybe later he could share his opinion.

"You have helped us hunt, but this forest cannot support us all and if we just take in all those cats who can't even help given how skinny and ragged they are and we will all die of starvation as Leaf-Fall is approaching." He snarled unsheathing his claws, his fur and tail were bristling and was hissing defiantly at her. "I was born in this group, you are a outsider kittypet." He spat out the word kittypet as if it was a piece of crow-food.

The large and fluffy she-cat snarled at the Tribe tom showing her teeth but keeping her claws hidden. Even if she was a fiery cat that would fight anyone who dare to insult her, this wasn't the moment for a fight that would only bring pain and blood loss for both of them. However, that didn't mean that Rising Stream wouldn't say nothing at all after what he said.
She walked one step as she puffed up her chest to look bigger, even when she was already pretty big, and more intimidating. "Are you deaf or what? Didn't you hear what the oldest of this cats said? They were maimed by badgers! Of course, they look skinny because of the wounds that weren't treated properly, you dumb cat. You and I would be the same if we were they. If you have a little of common sense and some moral in your heart, then you shouldn't say that we must leave them on their own in those conditions. I understand your concern about the amount of food but you haven't even given them the opportunity to show us what they can do to collaborate with the Tribe." The light gray she-cat glanced back at the group of four cats with understanding eyes before narrowing his green eyes looking back at Fallen Shadow.
"And what is the big difference between me and you or any of the cats that born in the Tribe? I'm a cat just like you and I had defended and protected the Tribe as if it was my family and home. Maybe at first, I didn't have the right to even give my opinion because I didn't know how things worked here but now things have changed and I'm of your group as well, Fallen Shadow. Don't you dare to insult me again for my past... I have earned my place here and I deserve the same respect as you." Rising Stream didn't care too much about the fact that he called her a kittypet. After all, it was true she was one in the past. What he made her mad was that he talked to her like she was less than any cat that was born in the Tribe, like he was superior or something.

Tall Pine quickly stepped between the two, shooting a warning glance at Rising Stream before turning to the younger tom, his hackles raising slightly. "Fallen Shadow, I thought you were better than this." He hissed, glowering down at him. "You're acting like a kit who lost a game of Pebble Toss."
He sighed. Although the young tom could've found a better way to state his opinion, he was right. The warmer seasons were ending, and the Tribe needed to stock up on food while they could. But on the other paw, these cats were hurt. They needed medical attention, and soon. He had no idea how they'd lasted this long, especially against badgers. With a frown he turned to Rising Stream. "We've gotta talk about... them." He mewed softly, brushing past her and padding towards Dawn Streak.

Chicken walked in with the rest of his group, eyes worried. He whimpered when one of them started opening his mouth as if yelling, and looking abgry. He could almost feal the vibrations that the words caused. However, on a good note, Badger had regained consciousness. Protectively, he ran to his friend's side, near the tribe cat that smelled of plants, looking at the larger group with distrust. No one had helped them out before, why would these cats help them now? But they were basically his and his group's only chance at survial, so he didn't growl, just stood there, waiting for help.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rock had just returned from hunting, a mouse between his jaws, when the new cats arrived. They were tired, scarred, and weak by the looks of them, nothing that could be useful to them. But his mind filled with images of the last group, yowling orders to 'kill the weak'. Then, he had be the weak one. It would be anything but right but make them suffer the fate that he had just barely escaped. When Tall Pine padded towards him, he was rather surprised. Why was the leader of the tribe coming to him, a newcomer, for advice? Then he remembered saying why he was useful. Experiance. The leader probably wanted to use his experiance to come to a decision. Once again, he was showing weak spots to easily. But he was not in a place the scold the other tom at the moment. "I am honored you came to me to talk about this, Tall Pine. In my opinion, we should give them shelter unlss they betray us," the former loner replied, then turned to face the rest of the group. Oh great, they were arguing already. "Everybody, stop arguing! There is no way that any of that is going to help. Can somebody get them food and a place to rest, and can someone that knows herbs and medicine help them out. After that, we will decide what happens in the future." It felt nice to take lead, like a natural ambition. To him, it felt like he was meant to be a leader, and he cherished these moments.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frozen Pool grunted as the newcomers walked in, not really caring about them. As long as they didn't make his life any harder, he had no problem with them. Then he heard Rising Stream say something about him, and that hope shattered. At the bck of his mind he realized someone finally recognized his talent, but he decided to focus on the part of himself that was gumpy that he couldn't just get some peace an quiet. When Tall Pine dropped the old tom at his paws, he looked at him with a look of disgust. "I don't particualrly want to help any of you, but why not?" he said rolling his eyes. He looked through the small pile of herbs he had stored. It wasn't much, he was collecting stuff he found when going on walks so he didn't get bored. He looked at the old tome first. "There isn't much I can do for you, but here are some junier berries to give you strength." He placed a few of the purple berries at the tom's feet. They were fairly common, so he had a lot, and he gave them to each of the travelers. Next, he turned to the brown-furred tom. Looking quickly at his paw, he wrapped the broken foot in bindweed, which was extremely common, and gave him some nettles. "Eat." Then he focused on his missing eye. Ther wasn't much he could do, but he might be able to make it less sore with celandine. He only had one flower, so he didn't want to waste it. "Do you have any pain where your eye should be? I can treat it, but I only have one flower and I don't want to regret it."

"I am merely speaking the truth, i will try and hunt some of the rapidly hiding prey." He growled stalking out of the crowded camp. At last, peace and quiet. He thought stalking through the pine needles, after walking a while he finally caught sight of a vole near one of the few streams in the forest. He prepared to pounce when a bird dove in the water and came out with a fish scaring the vole away. Mouse dung! He thought bitterly returning to camp empty pawed. "I spotted a vole by a stream but a bird dove in the water and scared it off." He said bitterly not even wanting to look at the half empty fresh-kill pile even though his stomach was rumbling. Tall Pine will probably give the rest of our prey to them while we starve. He thought stalking into the Sharpclaw den trying to keep himself from lashing out and attacking the disabled cats, Stupid Mange-pelts. He thought again while silently shredding his bed of moss in anger.
Badger quickly devoured the berries as he was famished and felt his strength flow back. "Thank you." He said dipping his head and glancing around at the rest of them.

Branch nodded to every instruction of the cat called Frozen Pool. He seemed annoyed by their presence but he was helping them more than any cat did in the past so he followed what he said and ate quickly the neetles that he showed to him. Laying down on the ground, close to Badger, the tom shook his head after the question of Frozen Pool. "You don't have to spend your last flower in my missing eye. You have done more than enough for us... Frozen Pool. I lost it moons ago so it doesn't hurt anymore. Thank you... foi everything." Now that his paw was being healed, he could feel the permanent pain go away for a bit and that was more that he could ask for. The tom really hoped that they would help his friends as well too and then... these cats would says the fate of the four of them.
----------
Rising Stream calmed herself after the glaring of the leader, giving just a last angry glance to Fallen Shadow before he left. The large tabby she-cat followed Tall Pine in his way to Dawn Streak and Rock, purring before a goodbye to the disabled cats that were being treated by Frozen Pool. The she-cat trusted the medical knowledge of the tom and, even if he was pretty grumpy, she knew that he would help them.
The former kittypet padded closer to Rock and sat down, looking at Tall Pine with serious and wise eyes that showed a maturity much buigger than her age. "I aggree with Rock, Tall Pine. We shouldn't leave them out there on their own in those conditions. They are hurt and they need our help. I know that it's risky and I understand the concerns of Fallen Shadow about our food. However, I believe that there might be another activity that they could do to collaboirate with the Tribe. If they can prove that they can help in some way, then I see no reason to exile them."Rising Stream spoke with the thruth of her heart and beliefs, without any hesitation. She liked being able to say what she thought about the things that were happening and the she-cat was also honored because of having the trust and respect of the leader of the Tribe.
---------
Oak Leaf looked how the four cats reunited a few steps away to talk. The red furred tom growled, annoyed by the attitude of Rock. Who he thinks he was? The Brown and slender wasn't his leader at all. He was just a rogue too ambitious and he disliked the fact that he was gicing him and the rest orders when the leader was Tall Pine. Because of that, the Sharpclaw left the place without even caring about what Rock said. He wouldn't do a thing for those starngers until Tall Pine said him to do it.
---------
Ice's Stone was returning from a succesful catch of three squirrels when he noticed what was happening. The pointed blue tom approached the crowd and listened to every word about the situation. Once the four cats started talking to the leader, the serious and emotionless cat padded closer to the four disabled cats and left two of the three squirrels in front of them, following the instruction of Rock. Unlike Oak Leaf, Ice's Stone believed that Rock deserved to be listen and followed because he had more qualities of a leader than Tall Pine. "You can share these two squirrels. Ask for anything you need from me and I will see if I can help you"After saying that, the tom left the place.

Falen Shadow who had stuck his head out silently snarled in disgust at Frozen Pool and padded after Oak Leaf, after catching up he started clawing a already torn up pine tree angrily. "Why should Tall Pine take them in, they can do nothing and Frozen Pool and Rock don't realize what it is like to starve for weeks since they weren't with us. I say we should kick them out and not let them touch our dwindling prey, what do you think?" He snarled while gouging deeper marks into the barkless tree.

Chicken looked quizically at the blueish purple berries at his paws. Looking around at his companions, he saw them eat them and did the same. Lapping up the berries, he decided that he liked the sweet, tart, sharp taste of them. But he still would rather have prey. Before long he felt the strength the berries gave settle in, though he was still hungry and thirsty. Suddenly, the scent of freshly caught prey filled his nose. Turning his head, he saw the two squirrels that the blue pointed tom had left in front of them. Immediately he dug in, eating half of one before pulling back. He had been too hungry to think about it before, but now he felt embarrassed. What if the prey wasn't for him? The serious tom had said something, but he didn't know what it was. The tom cowered low to the ground, looking around for an example to follow. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Rock nodded in approval to Frozen Pool, then looked out over the rest of camp. Ok Leaf and Fallen Shadow seemed to purposefully not do what he was saying, but he didn't mind, at least conciously. Haters were going to hate, so why should he care? He just rolled his eyes and continued listeing to Rising Stream. She was a good cat with good ideas that he respected. He nodded to what she was saying, signifying that he agreed with her. He couldn't help but look around camp to see what cats were doing. He nodded in approval to Ice's Stone, glad that he was doing something good. Then, he turned back to face the other three cats. ---------------------------------------------------------------- "Well, I am glad to hear I don't have to waste any more materials on you," Frozen Pool replied to Branch, his voice lacking any kind of gratitude. He hid the fact that he was acually enjoying putting his skills to good use. He growled under his breath when he looked at his pile of herbs. He would need to gather more bindweed and nettles, and more juniper berries would also be useful. He wished that he could actually go out and gather herbs instead of just picking up the ones he found when he was bored.

Tall Pine narrowed his eyes as Rock took the lead. He would make an excellent ally, although he was far too shy and awkward to be an amazing leader. Still, he was useful.
The large tom sighed, turning to the others. "Although it's true that these cats need shelter, we can't keep them forever." He mewed calmly. "We're low on food, and soon the colder seasons will be upon us, when food and herbs will be harder to find. They're unable to hunt or defend themselves, and I don't know how long we can protect them."
The large tom turned to look at the injured cats, who were now relaxing in the shade. "I say we shelter and feed them for one moon. Patrolling and hunting rates will have to nearly double, though." He paused. "Rising Stream, do you mind telling us how these cats could be useful to us?"

When Tall Pine approached Dawn Streak after they lead the sickly cats inside camp, she had been happy at first. But then when Tall Pine had two others join the conversation, Rising Stream and Rock, she felt a prickle of irritation. The she-cat had nothing against them, but did Tall Pine not trust her judgement?
Her irritation deepened to something much more dangerous in a flash when Tall Pine opened his mouth and spoke those words.
"Tall Pine." She finally decides to join the conversation once she reigns in her anger to be civil. She turns fiery hazel eyes to him, the color glinting like a unforgiving flame about to grow into a forest fire of unimaginable heights. "Have you forgotten my sister?"

The large she-cat frowned, uncomfortable because of Tall Pine's question. She could see the doubt inside his heart about her judgment about the disabled cat and she was annoyed but the fact that he didn't trust in what she said. Her tail flicked, impatient as she started to talk back to the leader of the Tribe. "If even after the cares of Frozen Pool, these cats aren't able to hunt for the Tribe, they could try to help in other activities that don't too much physical effort. They can gather herbs for Frozen Pool, who is a fine healer, or even learn from him a few things about healing so they can help him with any injured cat in the Tribe. In my opinion, there are different ways to prove the worth of each cat and they will have to show us what Tribe's duties they can do, such as guarding the camp warning us about any possible dangers or..." Her voice soon quieted when she noticed the sudden and angry voice of the other she-cat.
Her green eyes watched how the mate of the leader talked to him clearly irritated by the idea of leaving this cats away from the Tribe. She didn't know a thing about Dawn Streak's sister but it was sure that she was one of the reasons for her anger against Tall Pine's attitude. Rising Stream gave a glance to Rock, to see if he knew what was going on now and what should they do. This was no time for a couple fight in her opinion and she wouldn't let them start arguing about something that wasn't about the maimed cats that needed their help and not a silly fight between mates.
--------
Oak Leaf looked from the corner of his eyes the four cats that were talking about the disabled cats a few paws away from him and Fallen Shadow, who was talking him. He narrowed his eyes, looking serious to the leaders and then to the other Sharpclaw. "If they can't hunt for us or even catch a mouse, then I agree with you, Fallen Shadow. Everyone here does their best to feed themselves and the Tribe and, honestly, we don't need useless cats that can't do anything rather than eat our prey and sleep in our dens. However, the decision is in Tall Pine's paws and we cannot do much about what he said so we have to keep our thoughts to ourselves." He wasn't speaking as angrily as the other tom did but he sure showed his opinion about the situation with clarity and showing a slight sentiment of annoyance.
